Why use Yoni Herbal Steam? 

A Yoni Steam, also known as vaginal steam, is the ancient practice of sitting or squatting over a steaming pot of water infused with herbs. It’s a powerful ally for women’s vitality in nourishing the uterus, regulating irregular cycles, reducing menstrual pain + imbalances and supporting fertility and reproductive health. It also supports spiritual and emotional cleansing and healing by reconnecting a woman with her feminine center. 

Prayer and intention is an important part of working with plants and a deeply potent way of accessing support beyond the physical. My suggestion is for you to speak from your heart, plant your intentions, and ask for the healing support of the plant.

After drinking your cup of Cacao:

Directions

1. Add desired amount of chosen herbs to a basin of hot water.

2. Let the herbs steep for at least a minute, test steam temperature with the back of your wrist.

3. Remove your clothes from the waist down.

4. Stand or squat directly over the basin. Some people prefer to place the basin in the toilet and then sit on the toilet (you can find may specially designed yoni steam seats/pots online as well)

5. Wrap a soft blanket or towel around your waist and legs to prevent the steam from escaping.

During and after your steam you might feel tired or emotional, and it’s important you take the time to rest and stay warm after your Yoni Steam.

Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant should not use herbal vaginal steams. Do not use while actively bleeding/menstruating, when any open wounds, sores or broken skin is present or if you have an IUD. Always consult your physician when beginning any new medical or herbal treatments.

This handcrafted Cacao is sourced from the land of the Mayans, in the central North part of Guatemala, from the area of Lanquin, in the mountain region of Alta Verapaz, close to the famous waterfalls of Semuc Champey, and at the mouth of the Lanquin River.

This ancestral cacao is the product of ´´Tuqtuquilal´´, a regenerative center that uses reforestation to empower cacao. The collective is focusing on the exchange of information to develop sustainable living solutions for the benefit of the local Q’eqchi community and visitors alike. The center is a start-up non-profit that grows organic cacao.

The beans come from a small independently owned farm, who grows the cacao and takes care from the very beginning pouring with their heart so much love and honoring this sacred plant. 

This cacao is sourced from fruit forests close to waterfalls and with a lush variety of trees which sometimes gives the cacao a distinct taste and energy that comes from this ancestral land.

At Lake Atitlan in Guatemala, Women’s collective have been supporting the artisanal processing of the cacao since the beginning of the process with roasting the seeds, peeling them and processing the cacao into a cacao paste/block. The artisanal processing of the seeds allows an extraordinarily high-quality control. Hand peeling allows our women’s collectives to ensure that each bean is in the perfect state.

All this process is managed by Cacao Source, a team of three international friends, who I have had the chance to meet living in Guatemala. They have been extremely helpful and I can see the level of integrity and passion on how they work with this sacred plant.

Rise Together Recipe

Heat up 100ml-150ml of water (not boiling)

Add 1,5-2 tbs of Cacao
½ ts Cinnamon
½ ts Cardamom
½ ts Coconut oil
½ tbs Tahini or Nut butter
Add a pinch of chilli 
Add a pinch of salt
Add a little honey or syrup
Mix it in blender or using a milk frother 
Set an intention

Feel the love
